Outreach Events
UNIQ
The Department of History of Art offers a programme of events as part of UNIQ, which is a programme of free summer schools at Oxford University for students studying in their first year of further education in UK state schools/colleges. Students who apply for the History of Art UNIQ course will live in an Oxford college/annexe, and attend a week-long programme consisting of lectures and classes taught by tutors and museum staff. These lectures and classes will often take place in front of the objects being discussed within Oxford museums and galleries. Students will also have the opportunity to use Oxford’s libraries for project work, meet with current History of Art undergraduates, explore colleges offering the BA History of Art degree, and attend sessions offering advice on applying to Oxford. Further information, including how to apply, can be found here: http://www.uniq.ox.ac.uk/
